New Reality Show Highlights Goofyface Lifestyle

Given the success of reality shows such as Survivor, American Idol, and the recent
smash hits, Dumpster Buffet and Celebrity Spit-Off, fledgling network, Goofyface
Entertainment Corporation (GEC) is pitching Extreme Goofyface Makeover (EGM).
Billed as “the new face of television”, EGM features straight-faced
people having their facial characteristics transformed into goofyfaces, EGM takes
contestants through a rigorous 12 week regimen of facial exercises, laugh induction
procedures and an extensive series of lip distortinal implants to achieve maximum
goofiosity. Says show creator and President of GEC, Dr. Harvey K. Scrunchems, “This
show is not just about before and after, rather it’s about the triumph
of the human spirit and the transcendent impact that scrunching your nose, sticking
out your tongue and bulgerating your cheeks can have not only on ourselves as
people, but on the world as a whole.”

Despite the early buzz on EGM, few industry executives have shown
interest in acquiring EGM for the fall season. One such executive
who chose to remain anonymous stated, “Given the exceptional
quality of such programs as Celebrity Spit-Off, we feel it would
be a detriment to our morals and high standards of media excellence
to produce a show such as Extreme Goofyface Makeover. However,
we are hopeful that our newest reality show, Vomit to Victory will
continue to exemplify our goals as a network."
